Leticia, Colombian Amazon
Small-group jungle expeditions, guided with the people who live there
Riveros Expedition designs and guides 2 to 5 day Amazon tours from Leticia — wildlife by river and trail, nights in indigenous communities, and a tri-border crossing into Peru — built in partnership with local guides, not around them.
RNT 158020 registered operator 2–5 days per itinerary Small groups, local + indigenous guides Since 2018 operating from Leticia
Why Riveros ExpeditionS
A local operator, accountable to the communities it works with
01
Local, on the ground
Founded by people who spent years working in sustainable development and environmental protection around Leticia — the itineraries come from that experience, not a brochure.
02
Community consent, always
Every visit to an indigenous community happens with their explicit agreement. Cultural practices are respected, and tourism generates direct, fair income for the people hosting you.
03
Wildlife-first itineraries
Routes and group sizes are designed to minimise disturbance to animals and habitat — small groups, responsible observation distances, no wildlife baiting.
04
Fair pay, transparent pricing
Guides and hosts are paid fairly. What you pay reflects safety standards, insurance, and real operating costs — not a margin stacked on cheap labour.

WHO we work with
Tourism income, staying where the jungle is
Each itinerary runs through named indigenous communities and partner projects rather than generic "jungle stops." Musmuki is an indigenous-led community tourism project; Innative works on local sustainable development in the region; Xingu Photography documents the expeditions. Working with named partners, not anonymous "local guides," is also how we keep every visit accountable.

Who guides you?
A small team, on two continents, built around one trail
Riveros Expedition runs on a small team, not a call centre. Operations are led from Leticia, on the ground where every itinerary happens; sales and communication run remotely, keeping response times fast for international travellers. Guiding is always split in two — an indigenous guide who knows the land, and a professional tour guide trained in safety and logistics — so every group gets both knowledge and structure.
